Tübingen - Moshi partnership

Are you aware of the fact that the city of Tübingen has a partnership to Moshi in Tanzania? Apart from that there is a huge engagement from Tübingen initiatives active in Tanzania such as Difam e.V and others. 

The impetus for a partnership with a city in Africa was given by Lord Mayor Boris Palmer at his inauguration in January 2007. On 16 June 2014, Tübingen announced its sister city partnership with Moshi.

Aims and objectives of the partnership between Tübingen and Moshi is to facilitate personal and institutional contacts, encounters and facilitate cooperation on common global issues such as climate change and peace work at the local level.
